FAQs

A: No. Because every project is tailored specifically to the client’s needs, costs can vary widely. The price of your stationery is determined by a variety of factors, some of which include the type of printing method, the quality of paper stock, and the number of invitations you order. For 100 sets of invitations (around 200 guests), the cost could be anywhere from $8 to $15 per set. By offering a range of high-value options, we can accommodate most event budgets.

A: In a way, yes. The more units you order, the more you’ll save. This is because I start with a base design price that stays the same whether you order 10 or 100 invitations. With a higher-volume order, the base price is stretched out across more individual pieces, providing you with a better value.

A: Catalog invitations might be less expensive, but that’s because they’re the same designs thousands of other brides are using. Instead of just tweaking a cookie-cutter template, our designs are created from scratch just for you, bringing complete individuality to your event.

A: Absolutely. We believe the theme of the wedding should extend across all supporting materials. To complement your wedding invitations, we can also provide save-the-dates, shower invitations, thank-you notes, place cards, programs, favor tags, and more.

A: Yes, we can! Because we are truly custom designers, we can create pretty much anything you envision. You’re not limited to just certain templates—even the most creative, far-fetched ideas can come to fruition. Case in point: we once created an invitation using an avocado for a tropical-themed wedding.

A: Per modern etiquette, anytime between 4-12 months before the wedding is acceptable.

A: Although it’s not a hard-and-fast requirement, save the dates are gaining in popularity as a fun, convenient way of keeping guests in the loop before the actual invitation goes out. They’re especially great for destination weddings, holiday weekend weddings, or out-of-town guests who will have to make travel arrangements in advance.

A: Standard rule of thumb calls for 6 – 8 weeks before the wedding.

A: Yes! We’ll create a custom map to ensure that your guests easily find their way to and from the wedding and reception, as well as to local hotels and amenities. The map will be designed to match the tone and style of your invitation.

A: We carry a wide array of paper stock shades. If we don’t have the exact color you need, we’ll mix a custom ink to match.

A: We typically prefer to begin the invitation design process at least 3-4 months before the mailing date. That said, sooner is always better—a majority of our clients contact us anywhere from six months to a year ahead of time. For a 25% fee, we do offer rush services for designs that need to be completed in less than 30 days.

A: One of the most important aspects of our design process is getting to know you and your fiancée, learning more about your likes and dislikes, and building your “back story.” We’ll use the information you provide to craft a design theme suited to your personality and preferences.
